Whole body
One day that keeps blood, breath, muscle, gut, and sleep on speaking terms.
Mixed plate · Steady day · 0 of 8 ticked today
No organ keeps a private schedule. The gut absorbs what the liver processes, the heart delivers, the muscles spend, and the brain directs — mostly while you are asleep.
Specializing later still uses this plate shape: half plants, a palm of protein, a fist of starch, and olive oil or nuts. Change the foods, not the skeleton of the day.
Always, for the rest of you
These three stay no matter which part you open.
Today’s plate
Water with each meal, then when you are thirsty or the day was hot.
7:30
Breakfast
A calm start
Eggs with spinach in olive oil, a slice of wholegrain toast, and an orange.
12:30
Lunch
The color bowl
Warm lentils, roasted vegetables, olive oil, herbs, and a piece of fish or chicken if you want it.
16:00
Snack
The bridge
An apple and a small handful of almonds, or yogurt if lunch was light.
19:00
Dinner
Protein, plants, starch
Salmon or chicken, a potato or rice, and a large handful of greens.
Day rhythm
Keep close
Olive oil
The default cooking fat. Useful for heart and for actually enjoying vegetables.
Beans and lentils
Fiber plus protein. They show up in almost every region plan for a reason.
Leafy greens
Folate, potassium, and color. A handful at two meals covers a lot of quiet jobs.
Fruit you chew
Whole fruit, not juice. The fiber changes how the sweetness lands.
Go easy
Sugary drinks
They skip fullness and crowd out meals that would have fed you.
Ultra-processed as the default
Fine sometimes. A problem when it is most of the week.
All-or-nothing weeks
A perfect Monday and a blank Tuesday teaches nothing. Repeat a smaller day.
